Firefly Autism’s mission is to transform the lives of children with autism and empower their families. Working in Denver and the Western Slope, Firefly Autism provides intensive therapy and intervention services for more than 200 children and their families. Their work helps children develop a lifelong love of learning and the skills to interact meaningfully with their communities.

Now meet Ivan, a six-year old child who was diagnosed with fetal alcohol syndrome, a disorder that can cause developmental delays in young children. His adoptive parents were concerned with supporting his development and sought out ways to facilitate healthy growth for their new child.
When we make a mistake, many of us rely on the support of family, friends, and mentors to help us learn from the experience and recover. This has been the business of Denver nonprofit Friends for Youth since 1998.
