Engaging students in school or with after school activities is sometimes difficult, but is also very important. Many students are left to find their own recreation and companionship both inside and outside of the classroom, and this is compounded by the pressure school work can create for a student. Out of these challenges, the central principle of the Boys & Girls Club’s mission was born: keep kids engaged.
